DESCRIPTION:Membership at Village Church has its benefits and responsibil
 ities. Our goal is to create an authentic biblical community based on th
 e early church recorded in Acts 2:42-47.      Our desire is for all
  members to be united in vision and purpose, which is why we offer a req
 uired membership class taught every other month.    This class help
 s people who may be interested in joining the church understand the basi
 c values and goals of the congregation, but you can attend the class eve
 n if you are not ready to become a member.   We’ll explain what we
  believe, how we operate, and the history of our church. We’ll ans
 wer your questions, share information on our church’s future plans
 . We’ll also talk about how you may become a member and what are t
 he expectations for members.    At the end of the membership class there
  will be an opportunity for you to decide whether to complete the proces
 s and become a member or wait and decide at another time. No pressure wh

DESCRIPTION:Village Chuurch will be hosting Life Line Screening on Wed. M
 arch 10, 2010.  These health screenings will be offered to people 40-yea
 rs-old and older.  The vascular screenings are performed using Doppler c
 olor flow ultrasound systems and include: Caroatid Artery Screening; Abd
 ominal Aoatic Aneurysm; Ankle Brachial Index; Bone Density screening; At
 rial Fibrillation; Complete Lipid Panel, Glucose and C-Reactaive Protein
  blood tests.  Partaicipants are required to pre-register by calling    
  1-888-653-6441.  Cost for all four vascular screenings is $139.  $10 ex
 tra for osteoporosis.  Flyers available at Village Church.
